Mittens
Missing Since: 7/22/16
Reunited: 7/30/16Our Mittens got out through the screen door, and met with some adventures. First, a week ago, a woman who appeared to be drunk tried to take him home, but a young couple intervened, and brought him to their home in Durham. They then checked craigslist, and realized it was our Mittens! He is now home safe and sound.

Found: Spring 2016
After trying to find this cat’s family, the people who found this beautiful cat decided to adopt him. They left the listing up here for over two years, just in case, but nobody claimed him. We continue to leave the listing on Cat Finders in case anyone ever is looking for this cat, at least they’ll know he is okay, and that he found a wonderful home.

Buddy
Missing Since: 7/6/16
Reunited: 7/7/16Buddy ran off when we got to our vacation campsite. He had never been outside there before. I’d just gotten back from the nighttime rounds, looking for and calling Buddy. I spent a few minutes outside talking to him, then I went inside when it started to rain. Within two minutes, Buddy was climbing the screens, wanting to come in.

Found: approx. 7/1/16 or 7/2/16
This short-haired gray cat has been in our neighborhood since before the July 4th weekend. He or she is very friendly and affectionate; definitely some family’s cats! There was another gray cat missing in the area, but that one came home. We’ve contacted local shelters and have been asking around. He’s been seen on Maplewood Avenue in Portsmouth.
