Charlie
3/27/16 to 9/20/18
We miss our Charlie Pickles. He was the sweetest boy and loved car rides. He knew his name and would jump in the car when we opened the doors. If a dog walked by while he was outside with his 2 legged sisters, he’d run towards them and follow along the front of our lawn. He was a protective brother and loved his big sister Amaya very much.

Found: 5/12/17
A dark tabby cat was just found in Rochester. Not sure of the gender. The cat had semi-long fur, and was a black and gray tiger-striped tabby without a collar and no microchip. This was an emaciated, elderly cat lying motionless at the intersection of Summer and Allen Streets. An attempt was made to locate the owner, but nobody in the area had ever seen the cat before. A good Samaritan brought the cat to the Animal Health Center in Rochester, ready to pay for his or her care, but the vet felt that the cat was so ill that the only option was to humanely euthanize, and end the cat’s suffering. The cat was in the final stages of kidney failure, dehydrated, and emaciated. At least in the end the cat knew a warm blanket and a loving touch. If you think this might be your missing cat, I am very sorry for your loss.

Found: 6/26/16
I got a quick glimpse of an orange tabby with a white bib (maybe white feet, too–not sure) in the vicinity of Charles Street and May Street in Rochester. The cat had a long, thin body. I didn’t see whether it had a collar on. When I called to the cat, he/she darted off. I never saw this cat around here before, and he might have come from anywhere, but he/she might have been frightened by all the fireworks last night at the fairgrounds, and may have run, and ended up here. The cat was heading toward May Street. Is this your missing cat?
