Please post all missing or found cats on our Facebook group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CatFinders/
We are no longer adding lost or found cats to this website. This website is now purely a source of information and links, as well as archives going back to 2006.
When you go to Cat Finders’ Facebook group at the link above for the first time, you will be asked to answer a few easy questions in order to join the group. We require this to keep out bots and fake profiles. Please answer the questions in some manner, even if it is to say “I don’t understand the question” or something like that. It is important to let us know that your cat is missing/found in NH, or that you live locally, and that you will agree to read the rules of the group. Our group is run a little differently than some of the other lost pet pages, so it is very important to read our guidelines before posting or commenting.

Crash
Missing Since: 8/14/20
MaleCrash is 4 years old, tall, slender and very friendly. He is all black with just a few white hairs on his chest. If you look closely, there are a couple of white hairs poking though. Short-haired, and very soft. He has been known to go right into another person’s home and make himself at home so we are worried someone may have him. Missing from the dirt road part of Beard Road in Hillsboro. If you see him:

If your phone number or email address changes, and your cat has not come home yet, please email: cat.finders@comcast.net to update your information. Sometimes cats are found after a year or longer, and wouldn’t it be a shame if your cat were found and nobody knew how to reach you? It happens. Please keep us updated so that it won’t happen to you and your cat.

This is a prime time of year for cats to get lost! People are blasting off firecrackers and other explosives any time, anywhere, not only on July 4th, but also the weeks before and after. Please take extra precautions during this time, such as making sure your cats are inside or in a fenced area by dusk each night.

This time of year can be dangerous and scary for our pets and wildlife. Many cats panic, run and hide, and may get lost this time of year due to sudden firecrackers, fireworks, etc., especially when the explosions are close to home. Let’s all keep a closer eye on our cats, maybe keeping them inside as much as possible this week, especially at dusk/early evening, or any time when neighbors might be setting off scary explosives!
